Alternate Investment Funds, on the other hand, are meant for investors with investile corpus of 1 core or more. These instruments are categorised in three categories basis the asset class they invest in and style of investing. The three categories
Category I – Funds that invests in New venture and startups
Category II – Funds that invests in all other assets classes not covered in Category I and III
Category III – Funds that invests in Derivatives, listed and unlisted securities and other risky instruments.
